Lahore: The global epidemic in Pakistan has been reported less in 24 hours. According to figures released by the NCOC, the epidemic killed 32 people yesterday who were being treated at various hospitals.
Yesterday, 34,524 citizens were tested, out of which 1,877 were positive. According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), there are 542,093 confirmed cases across the country, while 2,286 are in critical condition.
According to the data, Sindh province tops the list in terms of active cases across Pakistan while Punjab ranks second. The number of active cases in Sindh is 18,564 while in Punjab province it is 10,878.
If we look at the data of the people who died from this deadly disease, 4,272 patients have lost their lives in Punjab province so far while the number in Sindh province is 3,699. Besides, 235 deaths were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 188 in Balochistan, 101 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 441 in Islamabad and 1,740 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On the other hand, the death toll from the global epidemic in Brazil is more than 230,000, in the United States 383,230, in Turkey 22,807, in the United Kingdom 81,431, in Germany 41,233, in Italy 78,755, France 67,750 in Russia, 61,837 in Russia and 56,171 in Iran.
Worldwide, more than 64.7 million patients affected by the global epidemic have recovered, while the number of affected people has risen to more than 96 million. The deadly disease has killed more than 1.942 million people worldwide.
