Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was awarded the Bahrain Award ‘Bahrain Order’.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Bahrain where he met the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Salman bin Hammad.

According to ISPR, the Army Chief also met with Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and the Chief of Bahrain’s Armed Forces Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, issues of mutual interest and bilateral security and defense issues were discussed during the meetings.

According to ISPR, the Bahraini leadership reiterated its commitment to further improve special relations with Pakistan.

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, Crown Prince Salman bin Hammad of Bahrain also conferred the Bahrain Order “Bahrain Order” on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to ISPR, the Bahraini award was given to Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa for outstanding services in Pak-Bahrain defense cooperation.

According to the Public Relations Department, during the visit, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also observed the Pak-Bahrain Military Exercise Al-Badr and appreciated the quality of training in the Pak-Bahrain exercises.

According to ISPR, the Pak-Bahrain joint military exercises are a testament to the commitment against terrorism.
